Chia Sunrise Smoothie

December 03 , 2017 by: Taylor Drinks

After all this heavy (but delicious) holiday food, I’ve been craving some healthy things lately (SALADS?! WHAT?! With like, lettuce? Yes I admit it.)

True Story: When I got back from the trip we were on this past week, I literally drove to the store once we got home just to buy some lettuce, JUST LETTUCE; so I could have a salad for dinner. I don’t know what’s come over me. Never have I ever craved a lettuce salad before in my life. I think there’s something wrong with me.

Anyways, this smoothie is sweet and tangy with just a hint of spiciness from the ginger. It’s delicious. I feel like smoothies are very finicky for me, so I don’t think I can recommend any substitutions, except you can use dairy milk instead of almond milk if you want. Also, don’t leave out the ginger, it brings all the flavors together very nicely.
